Removal
Performance order:
1. Unhook a negative lead from the battery.
2. Remove from a head of cylinders a cover of the distributor of ignition with the high-voltage wires connected to it. Unhook wires from the plugs on a head of cylinders and its cover. Do not forget to mark a wire in order to avoid infringement of an order of ignition at assembly.
3. Mark and unhook from the case of a throttle and a cover of a head of cylinders all procedures of a wire stirring to performance and hoses.
4. Carefully wipe a cover in order to avoid dust hit in a head of cylinders/assemblages of a rocker gear.
5. Turn out bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders.
6. Accurately remove a cover together with a sealing gasket.
Installation
Performance order:
1. Separate an old layer pad, then carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a head of cylinders and its cover. Having scratched out traces of old sealer and layer pad fragments, wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone.
2. Impose a few sealer RTV on corners where the interfaced surface of a head adjoins to assembly of rocker actuators (see an accompanying illustration). Wait about five minutes, waiting the moment of the beginning of polymerisation of sealer.
3. Fill a cast layer pad in a flute going on perimetre of a cover.
